I woke up Saturday morning with my throat a little sore and a little difficult to swallow and the middle part of my nose felt a little blocked. Sunday morning was the same thing except my throat was a little more worse. I had hoarseness and my tonsils were kinda inflamed. I went to an ENT that day and they suggested that it could be either allergies or acid reflux. Now, I never have had problems with any food I eat previously and I know their is silent reflux which can make it seem like nothing is wrong. I am taking allergy medicine currently, Montelukast Sodium 10 mg and a nose spray, so the doc suggested I should take Omeprazle because my problem could be from acid reflux. I went ahead and took it. I've taken it for three days now and now every time I eat anything I become really nauseated for about an hour or two. I don't know if this just means maybe I shouldn't be taking the medicine because I don't have acid reflux or if it's just something I have to get used to. I feel like maybe my allergy medicine isn't strong enough and that could be why my sinuses were so irritated. Please help!
