This is my first time using birth control and I get the Depo shot, I feel movement in my tummy but I relate it to gas. I have a daughter and she's 6 months old.
The only way you'll be pregnant is if you conceived before your shot or before it became effective.
If you get your first shot during the first 5 days of your period, then you are protected against pregnancy immediately, otherwise you need to wait 7 days.
If you get all future shots on time, you'll have continuous protection.
