Wigraine (generic cafergot) production was stopped a couple of years ago, yet in doing some research, I'm finding this information prolific on the drugs.com web site for migraine solutions. And it was perfect for me -- but now I'm suffering again without my prescription of cafergot -- can I now get it again?
I've seen mixed reports on whether Sandoz Cafergot is currently available or not. For the past year my wife and I have been getting it made up for us in half-strength capsules from a compounding pharmacy in Toronto (Smith's). This is expensive (about $100 per prescription) but better than nothing, since Cafergot is the only medication which works for us.
