You do not have to even pull out. It really does little to nothing and is pretty much a wasted gesture since sperm are secreted all through the sex act not just during ejaculation. It is personal choice to use a condom in a monogamous relationship. Using a condom is only necessary to prevent STD's, not for contraception after the initial waiting period for the Pill to kick in, and it should be used as back up if you miss a pill or take antibiotics. If a woman is inconsistent in taking the Pill, it is a good idea to use condoms. The Pill alone all by itself is 98-99.9% effective to prevent pregnancy when taken consistently. When you add condom use to that chances are very very small as to be nil.

the reason why i am asking is because i have been feeling bloated for the past 2 days, and in a way maybe i over reacted, but just looking at my belly it looked bigger than usual. which got me worried, since i have started working out again and trying to eat cleaner. can detox affect the effectiveness of the pill?
