Got an abrasion on my cornea. Nurse said these drops would numb it a little bit to control pain. True or false?

Treating the infection will decrease the pain.
Are you sure she used only one med ? She may have had a local anesthetic in another bottle. You probably couldn't see because you were in the process of blinking during treatment.
FYI... make sure you take this med on time accurately, even if you have to wake up to do it.
It's only for a prescribed # of days so get the most effect out of it.
Do NOT stop taking it when you feel normal.
