Poly-Tussin AC - My insurance will not pay for the Poly Tussin AC. What OTC med could I use?

Hi. Actually there really isn't a non-prescription substitute for this cold medicine. It contains codeine, a narcotic cough suppressant that's prescription-only. You could buy a cough medicine that contains dextromethorphan (DM) but it probably will not suppress your cough as well as codeine.
