... treatment to get rid of it, and I will be thanking your help
I was waiting for someone with this condition to answer your question. I do not have this condition but I do know a little bit about it and I have seen people with it. I don't know how long you have had this condition for, but from my understanding it is a condition which can be managed with treatment but very prone to relapses (it returning). There is no cure, but the skin can be improved by treatments. Because it covers such a large area of your body there can be heart implications. I don't know if you know this but you must discuss this with your doctor. There is a site called Curetogether. I have checked and there is a Psoriasis category. Has you have the most common variety most of the data will come from people who have the same type as you. Basically this site gathers data from patients with a condition and rates treatments options which people have tried. It also covers symptoms, side effects and cause. I was informed of this site by a fellow forum member bruthd and it is very good. You can add your experience to the data. Just set a side a few hours as it will take this long.
I hope that I have helped in some way.
Hi, I have had psoriasis for about 10 years now. I have tried countless prescription medications as I understand that is the solution you're currently exploring. Despite my reservations, a friend of mine who simply had dry skin recommended a natural cream remedy calls burdock root specifically a cream called "burrific heal all" manufactured by a Canadian company and I was able to purchase it on fromthemeadow.com. In a matter of weeks, my psoriasis which has never been affected positively by prescription medication has almost entirely disappeared with no trace. I highly recommend this natural approach as an option for you. It is inexpensive and all natural so you have nothing to lose. Hope this suggestion helps! Best, selma
hi, I was a psoriasis patient of a Chinese hospital and now I am a translator of this chinese hospital, because I can speak english, and there are some foreign patients from abroad coming to China to receive treatment, so they decide let me to translate for them, I have seen many Chinese patients getting improving and cured for sure, I really want to let more people to know this ,Chinese traditional medicine is the real treatment for such skin problems, which foreign people donnot know much about.you may not go over there, but you can visit their website of vitiligotcm, and talk to their doctors through email or email your pictures of your skin to them, they will give you some advice and treatment if you want.
I've had psoriasis for about 14 years and have tried all different kinds of treatments. I first got it when I was 4 and have had it since, I can't remember not having it. For me personally the most effective treatments I have used are dovobet gel for the body and sebco ointment for the scalp. Photo therapy (UVB) was also very effective and easy but unfortunately I have rebounded quite badly due to my medication not being monitored properly. The most important thing to do is to make sure you and your skin is hydrated throughout the day, this means drinking water and moisturising at least twice a day. I uses oilatum junior as it isn't particularly greasy or sticky which can be inconvenient. It is also fragrance free. I know I am probably a lot younger than you but trust me have tried all the treatments apart for injections.
