I had unprotected sex on the day I normally ovulate and took plan b. I read that there is still a chance of getting pregnant because I was ovulating. Is this true?
How do you know for sure when you ovulate? Next question, why the heck did you have unprotected sex on a day you thought you were ovulating? With plan B you still have a 20% chance of getting pregnant. It isn't meant as regular birth control, but emergency like if the condom broke. If you've already ovulated its too late, as plan B does not end a pregnancy once its begun.
Yes it will work.. i know there still is a chance you can get pregnant after taking a plan b ..but its a very small chance..i have taken it twice before and it worked for me..but remember you cant take it too many times!.as you said you have a 28 day like "clockwork" cycle so i would assume you are fairly healthy & you ovulate regularly..i had a friend who constantly had unprotected sex ..so she would pop these plan b pills every other week to avoid getting pregnant..she never got pregnant but her period became very irregular..to the point where she would go 3 months at a time without having periods where as before her peirod would come like clockwork like yours..so just be carefull , you period is one way for your body to tell you wether there is something wrong or not ... =)
