It doesn't make sense at all, We had sex about 3weeks ago I have used the plan b afterwards. A bout a week ago I have done the test again and it showed neg. Which I'm sure it did. Could it be that it the moment he ejaculated in me the egg got fertilize?????????
It sounds like you were already pregnant if you got a positive and it was correct. Getting a positive pregnancy test 4 days after sex is not usually possible. Plan B is 80% effective which is why I'm telling you girls that its not for regular birth control and should be used only in emergencies. I'd see my dr to find out for sure.
Also the more often you use Plan b the less effective it can be. It is NOT meant to be birth control!! If you try and use plan b two or three times a month, it isnt as effective and it is only about 80% effective in the first place. This is part of the reason that I dont like Plan b and why I dont think it should be available OTC. Women do not read instructions and if you do, you dont listen to them and you think it is okay to use regularly for birth control. It gives a false sense of security that hey, it is okay to have unprotected sex, I can just take Plan b after!! It doesnt stop a pregnancy already in progress. If an egg was fertilized and implanted, Plan b will not stop that. If you tested four days after sex and got a positive result, you were already pregnant. Pregnancy tests do not work that fast. It takes about 3-4 weeks after fertilization for enough HCG hormone to build up to trigger a positive pregnancy test. If you had unprotected sex a month ago, that is when you got pregnant.
