Last night I had sex around 12am , the next day I took the pill around 6pm.. I read that if your already pregnant it will not work.. So, could I have gotten pregnant within that time and it not work? I need answer ASAP cuz I'm trying not to stress.. I'm almost 18 but I'm really scared and wanna know.
There is no way to know for sure. Dont get too freaked out over an app that tells you that you are ovulating. Those are based on averages and most women arent average. Ovulation apps are guesstimates, at best. It is very difficult to tell when a woman is ovulating. It is often not even the same each cycle. Even women who are dedicated ovulation charters (these women take basal temps and check cervical mucus daily) for years cant always accurately predict ovulation. The only thing you can do now is wait. It is always better to PREVENT pregnancy BEFORE sex than try to stop it after sex occurs. You have a 25% -30% chance of getting pregnant. Not every sexual encounter leads to pregnancy, not even every sexual encounter during fertile periods leads to pregnancy but it is a game of Russian Roulette if you DONT use birth control. You have done all you can do at this point. All you can do now is wait and see. If you dont want to stress out, use birth control. Dont have unprotected sex, it is not worth the risk.
