So me and my girlfriend had decided and I bought the wrong sized condom. I finished in the condom but when I went to pullout the condom fell off inside her. And the opening of it was sticking out quite a ways. Well we kinda lost our cool and hauled butt to our closest pharmacy. And I went in bought a plan b and she took it. This was like 35ish minutes after sex. I feel safe about it but still have a worry in the back of my mind. Anything anyone can say about this? Thanks
I'd say you did everything in your power to get it right and I would feel relatively safe in your position.
NOTE: using a condom, you are supposed to hold it on your penis during withdrawal after ejaculation as if you don't, the same thing will happen again and again. If it's any consolation, I learned the same way over 30 years ago and we didn't have the extra insurance of plan B.
Yep, I agree with Stephen.
If you want extra precaution, your partner could have an IUD/Coil fitted within 5 days of the unprotected sex. That is another method of emergency contraception, which works in a different way to the Plan B. It can then be left in place for longer term contraception. Might be an idea?
As Stephen said, hold the condom tight on the base of your penis whilst you with draw. Also, never try to keep going with the same condom, once you've ejaculated. It will likely slip off inside of her, as your penis 'deflates' (best word I could think of on a Sunday afternoon!)... 'derects'... I seem to have brain fog, & it wasn't even Saturday night alcohol induced!
Make sure when putting the condom on, you nip the end/teat as you begin to role the condom over the head. This prevents air getting trapped & causing the condom to burst during intercourse.
