Sunday February 2 at about 12pm I had sex and the condom broke, I was taking birth control but I had my period the day before so it ended the night before. The next morning so about 10 hours later me and my boyfriend baught the plan b one step. Right now I have some cramping but that's it. I wanted to know if since I just had my period does that mean I have a lower chance of the pill not working or higher? And am I suppose to get some bleeding I heard that that's one of the most common symptom
You didn't need plan B, you are protected by your birth control. So what if the condom broke, you don't need it to protect you from pregnancy. I fail to see what having your period had to do with it. You are protected continuously. What's going to happen is your cycle is going to be screwed up and you may or may not have the side effects, but you aren't pregnant, you were protected. You did not ovulate, and without an egg there can be no baby.
