I had sex at 11 last night and today at 9:30 I took the Plan B .. will it work..I read that it's effective taken soon and I took it with in 12 hours after sex.
That depends on whether it's in time to delay your ovulation or not. If you haven't already ovulated this month, then it may be in time to delay it until the sperm leaves your body.
If you were in the middle of ovulating, then Plan B can't help you, you'd need one of the other methods of emergency contraception - either the Ulipristal Acetate pill, or an IUD fitted by a doctor. Both of those methods can be used up to 120 hours/5 days after unprotected sex.
If you had already ovulated, then unless you were one of the few women who sometimes ovulate twice in 1 month, then you will not become pregnant.
If you are always regular with your period (i.e. every 28 days, every 30 days etc) then you'd normally ovulate somewhere around the middle of your cycle. Day 1 of your menstrual cycle is the first day of your period.
