... condom broke. I immediately took the morning after pill. What are my chances of being pregnant?
The chances of you being pregnant, considering you used Plan B within 5 hours (it's more effective the sooner you take it), are not worth stressing over.
I've worried myself sick over situations when I've had to use Plan B, & every time it's proved totally unnecessary.
I know that, statistically, they say there's a small chance, & you will always hear of people it didn't work for, but under the circumstances you have described, I really don't think you need to worry.
Try not to stress about it.
You may find you get some bleeding in the next few days, which may be heavy. Not everyone experiences this, but don't worry if you do. It is normal.
You may also find that your next period is late by up to a week, & could also be heavy.
If you're anything like me, Plan B could make you feel VERY hormonal for a couple of weeks. It is a massive dose of hormone, & it takes your body some time to rebalance itself.
Hope that puts your mind at rest a little.
