... ultrasound... they said everything was fine. I had sex with my boyfriend 3 days ago and took plan b the night of after the condom broke. I have been experiencing stomach ache, vomiting, and some diarrhea. I don't know if I needed to take plan b due to the absence of my period but now I'm wondering if it was a good idea and should I expect a period?
The symptoms of using Plan B can vary enormously from woman to woman, as it is. Given that your menstrual cycle is already irregular, it's impossible to tell you what to expect.
You may get bleeding or you may not. It is likely to be a symptom of Plan B, though, rather than an actual period.
Other symptoms could include anything you might get with a period or pregnancy.
You can do a pregnancy test in 2 or 3 weeks of the accident, to put your mind at rest. It's important to do so, as you could have ovulated, without having had any bleeding recently.
In terms of getting your menstrual cycle back & balancing your hormones, in order to do so, have a research of the herbal remedy agnus castus (Vitex). It has helped me hugely. I use the A. Vogel brand, as it's really good.
