... later... will the second pill work as.well as the first pill?
It is hard to say. This pill is not meant to be used that way. It is NOT a form of birth control. You will probably be ok but you are playing with fire and you are going to end up pregnant! If you are adult enough to have sex, you are adult enough to be using some form of birth control!! There is no reason not to have birth control in this day and age. Condoms are widely available and effective. Insist your partner use one! Plan b is designed for contraceptive failure like a broken condom not because you were too lazy or caught up in the moment to use birth control. You return to fertility very quickly so dont make the mistake of thinking since you took Plan b you are covered for a few days. That is not true. You can return to fertility very quickly. If you are going to be sexually active, you need to make an appt with a gynecologist or your local family planning clinic and get on a more reliable birth control. If you dont want to see a Dr, or you prefer a simple method, condoms and spermicidal foam are available without prescription at the drug store and are effective when used together. Even a condom alone is better than nothing.
