Three months ago I took Plan B because of a condom failure ( I know about the risk if you don't use a condom ) it worked by the way. Same situation happened again yesterday so I took Plan B again. Will it be effective? I read that you can take Plan B more than once but I don't know what to believe.
Taking more than 1 Plan B doesn't make it more effective.
It works by delaying your ovulation. As long as you're not already ovulating, there's a good chance it'll do that for you, as long as it's taken within the hours 72 window.
If you are already in your fertile time of the month, then you can use a different pill, Ulipristal Acetate, which is more likely to cover you against pregnancy at that time of the month, & can be taken up to 5 days after intercourse. Either that, or you can have an IUD fitted by a doctor.
