Condom broke on 2/22, we didn't know until after he finished. So i took a pill within 30 min after the incident . My last period was on 2/11, so the condom broke on day 12. My average period cycle is 33 days. What are the chances of me getting pregnant? I'm so stressed... This has been the most stressful and longest 5 days in my life...
You took Plan B very quickly, & it was likely ahead of your ovulation, especially given your slightly longer than average cycle, so you should be okay. It looks to have been taken in time to stop your ovulation, unless you are a particularly early ovulater. Do you know your body's signs of ovulation? Had they started?
Plan B is thought to be around 90% effective if taken within the first 12 hours.
Candice; Just as Lous has said you have done everything right and should not have any problems but also remember with the strength of the Plan B it causes all kinds of hormone changes so don't worry when your normal period is off by a week or two or if you start to bleed and cramp up and a brown type blood is what you see this is all from the plan B. You should really have nothing to worry about the way you took it. But your cycle is going to be all weird too. just in case you have not taken it before. Now it's just a wait and things different than normal well happen too. Chuck1957
