I had sex on the 2.am morning with no protection so i took the plan b pill in the 9pm night the same day. But later on in the night the same day i had sex with no pretection. Could i get pregnant even if i took the pill on that day?
YES!!! Even with Plan b, you may still get pregnant! It is not a magic potion or the be all, end all for not getting pregnant and it doesnt always work and should NEVER, ever be relied upon to prevent pregnancy! It is not made just so you can choose to not use protection, it is emergency contraception for in the event of a condom break or a rape! Plan b is only 80% effective at stopping pregnancy which is all good and fine unless you are in the 20% who it doesnt work for! 20% is pretty high especially when you figure that at any time without protection at all you have a 25% chance of pregnancy so for the cost of Plan b, an extra 5% isnt very cost effective (or good at chancing a pregnancy for) is it? Birth control pills, when taken daily and consistently are 98-99.9% effective at preventing pregnancy. No birth control is 100% but I will take 99% odds over 80% odds on any bet! If you do not want to be pregnant, stop having unprotected sex! If you are mature enough to have sex, then you should be mature enough to deal with the consequences and smart enough to protect yourself and start by educating yourself on the reliability of the birth control options out there! You have a wealth of information at your fingertips with the internet! Use it! You are being irresponsible and it is going to catch up with you one day.
