Yes. Plan B is not 100% guaranteed to work, & it takes time to be covered by regular birth control pills.
If you are fertile/ovulating, then Plan B may not work for you. You'd need the other emergency contraceptive pill, Ulipristal Acetate. Either that, or an IUD fitted by a doctor. Either of those things can be done within 120 hrs/5 days of the unprotected sex.
