No you don't need emergency contraception if this is your period. You may want to get tested for STDs, though, as it's possible to carry those without symptoms, in some cases.
It's worth getting some regular birth control sorted, as it's more reliable than Plan B. If you had been ovulating, Plan B may not have worked for you, as it works to delay ovulation, & can't do that if you were already ovulating.
