I have a bottle of doxycycline 100mg capsules that has two different pills in it, one is west ward 3142, and the the other is a 2-peice all white capsule with no markings at all. are these the same pill or could this be an error by the phamacy?
Here is the image of West-ward 3142
As for the other - It is impossible to ID any pill without an imprint - sorry.
All Rx and OTC drugs in the US are required by the FDA to have an imprint. Therefore I really doubt your white capsule will be Doxycycline.
Your pill could be one of the following – diet, energy, herbal, vitamin, illicit or foreign.
- Doxycycline Information for Consumers
- Doxycycline Information for Healthcare Professionals (includes dosage details)
- Side Effects of Doxycycline (detailed)
