Wanting to know if daughter's mother is giving my baby girl something illegal to make her go to sleep so she doesn't have to chase her around
Are there pictures of nonnarcotic pills for a four year old to make them go to sleep at night?

The reason for my question was that my daughter's mother has been giving her something she calls a vitamin to make her go to sleep and was wondering if it was narcotic or not I don't know the medication she is giving her because we are separated

This was told to me by my four-year-old one night in bed
You shouldnt be giving your kid anything for sleep and if this post isn't deleted I'm contacting cps. Unless your doctor does and anything over the counter starts with 44, but no ones giving a 4 year a pill. And who is this person? If she's not the child mother. This screams wth
Have you asked? There are many things that people use on kids that are very dangerous. I agree that this should be investigated. A child has a developing brain and this could cause great harm. If this is happening, talk with the mom and tell her it is dangerous. Quite simply, people don't know. If she insists then call protective services. The child's mental future is at stake.
Can your baby tell you what it looks like? Does she know her colors? The only"vitamin" that I know that would help for sleep is melatonin. It is not really a vitamin but it is an OTC supplement pill and some people refer to supplements as "vitamins". Melatonin shouldnt hurt the child, if this is what she is getting. Melatonin has been beneficial in kids from 6 months old to their teens to help them sleep or regulate sleep patterns. It is recommended to give 2-5mg at bedtime. Melatonin is usually just a white pill and it also comes in liquid form. You might just ask the mother. Mention that your daughter has said she gets a vitamin pill to help her sleep and you were wondering if it is something she is supposed to have when she is with you too. You can judge by her reaction to your inquiry if she is doing something she shouldnt. If it is Melatonin, no worries. It wont hurt her.
