capsules. I took that reduced dose the last 24 hours and my tn pain came back hard. Now two hours into another 200mg dose is it safe to take an additional 200 mg dose at this time, or does the time release aspect of it make that not a good decision?
I take Tegretol Extended Release, and from what I've read they are pretty much the same. Mine comes in 200mg tabs also, but they are scored in the middle. When I'm on the maintenance dose I take a half a pill morning and night. When I'm having an episode, I up that dose to sometimes 800mg/day. Many docs aren't as clued into the drugs as the pharmacists are, so maybe call and talk to a pharmacist? I was told that my Tegretol was scored in the middle for that very purpose. Good Luck.
