I know I should drink soda but I do anyone can give me advice about this medication I just started .
I started taking it 34 days ago, have gone from 397 to 378, I have not follow any diet nor any exercise since my job keeps me moving all day it helps, I barely get hungry, dry mouth and do drink my coffee in fhe morning and the rest of the day water, I rarely had drank any soda at all
I just started today! At my consultation they advised that Women should eat 1000 cals per day (men 1200) with lean protein at every meal, only complex carbs (in other words no white flour, sugar, white rice, white potatoes that sort of thing) which you can google for recommendation (but they suggested whole wheat options, brown rice, sweet potatoes etc.) women should limit fat consumption to 22g per day and men 25g per day.
Breakfast should be 1-2 servings of lean protein and 1 serving complex carb
Lunch and dinner should be 1-2 servings of lean protein, 1 serving complex carb, and unlimited veggies (no corn)
They also recommend 80-100oz water per day (apparently studies have shown that the water increases the effectiveness of the medication).
As far as exercise goes they recommend 150 minutes of intentional cardio exercise per week (bike, walk, jog, run, stairs, dance, etc) and explained that the body starts to burn fat after 20 consecutive minutes of an elevated heart rate. So today I did 40 minutes of walking at 3.5 mph at a level 10 incline.
Of course the more exercise and the better you follow the diet the better your results will be.
I'm super surprised you weren't given more information prior to starting treatment. If I can be of anymore help, please don't hesitate :)
