I’ve been wondering if there’s a difference between the brand name vs generic? Additionally, I am interested in whether the capsule works better or the tablet? Lastly, I’ve found that some manufacturers have a stronger effect than others. I currently have a prescription for 37.5 mg; however, I’ve read where most people are reporting that the 30 mg is even more effective than the higher dosage. What is the general consensus of the efficacy of this suppressant?
Brand name works better than the generic although the pharmaceutical companies said they are the same. Brand name might not be covered by some of the insurance plans, yet generic is more likely to be covered since it's cheaper.
By Federal law, generics have to be in the same dosage therapeutic range as the branded product. The idea that a brand name is better, is generally nonsense.
