I paid cash for my prescription, like I have for 6 years. Had I known the brand was different I wouldn't have got them filled there. I wasn't told of the different brand when I paid for them. I called when I got home and realized what they did but they just said they are the same. Im out $35.00 for 60 CL 022 pills that don't work for me. Is there anything I can do?
You can't do a thing. The pharmacy did nothing wrong. Once you take the pills out of the pharmacy there is nothing you can do. You should check your pills before you walk away from the counter. Pharmacies aren't practicing some sort of slight of hand. They have to use what their suppliers give them. Its nice if they tell you when you get it its a different company, but they don't have to do that. They are the same meds, however they can be a little different. Have you tried them for a few days or decided they won't work because they are a different manufacturer? I've had several different manufacturers and mine have always worked. Oh, and check on the state regs because its now a controlled drug and some states won't let you go from pharmacy to pharmacy looking for the ones you want.
