seraquil starting at 50 but going up to 600mg/day
My wife has severe, treatment resistant depression but has never been diagnosed with bipolar.
My pharmacist told me that my wife should not take abilify and seraquil together?

- abilify, seroquel, depression, bipolar disorder, treatment
Seroquel will hopefully help the depression and the Abilify acts as an enhancer. I have taken both with no problem. The interaction checker states the following on this link: https://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=233-109,1979-1274
What concern did the pharmacist have?
Many drugs are not safe to stop suddenly or change from any of your doctors instructions, not just those for bipolar disorder. Questions like this should be answered by your psychiatrist and the pharmacy does not know about all of your conditions. They can only give you generalized instructions which might or might not be right for you as many parameters are involved.
