My husband has been on this drug over a year. It helps his dimencha, for two weeks we have been trying to get his prescription filled and we are told the druggist can not get it.
I can guess this one I think, namenda. He will have to switch to namenda xr. The drug company that makes it has pulled a really shoddy trick. The generic will be coming out soon, so in an attempt to keep all the people who take it, they stopped making the regular namenda so that everyone would have to switch to the xr. That way when the generic comes out hopefully they'll keep everyone, happy on the xr. The drs are protesting loudly about this one. I've maintained for years that drug companies manipulate the market to make the most money, now someone has seen it.
