Whats the difference between Pervacid and Nexium?
They both belong to the same class of drugs called proton pump inhibitors. Prevacid (lansoprazole) and Nexium (esomeprazole).
Proton pump inhibitors suppresses gastric acid secretion by blocking proton pump within gastric parietal cells.
