If you think that you could have shingles, then you should heed the advice from e-medicinehealth.
"People who have shingles symptoms should see their doctor as soon as possible, because antiviral medication is effective only if given early. Individuals with facial, nose, or eye symptoms should seek medical care immediately.
•Do not scratch the skin where the rash is located. This may increase the risk of secondary bacterial infection and scarring. Over-the-counter (OTC) antihistamines (Benadryl) and topical creams (Lidocaine cream) can relieve the itching."
A relative of mine did not get his shingles diagnosed right away and got post-herpetic shingles which is even more painful. He lived another 11 years in terrible pain before his death.
Get to a Dr. as quickly as you can and have it checked out, they will give you what you need to treat this.
Do not touch your eyes effected areas, rinse with Distilled water so you don t get any impurities in your eye.
Throw out any make up you ve used on both your eyes.
I've have purchased a complete set of make up for each eye. From mascara to eye shadows to brushes.
Do not use the same cloth to take your make up off at night.
Everything I have at home is labeled left eye right eye! Good Luck...
