A lady told me that if you look up the manufacture you can do something and get your meds for free. they'll send it to your doctor or fed ex to your house. There is no way I can afford my meds anymore im disabled and waiting on disability and Medicaid to kick in. I had a truck fall on my face and don't have any bone on the left side and severe nerve damage. In pain 24/7
Tell me what meds and I'll find out the contact info help with it. There are also groups that help with all meds- Here is the contact info that-The CoPay Relief Program 1-866-512-3861 or www.copay.org; or Suddenly Senior www.suddenlysenior.com/patientassistantprograms.html; or Needy Meds www.needymeds.org; and Partnership for Prescription Assistance 1-888-477-2669 or www.pparx.org www.freemedicine.com www.access2wellness.com
Dear Big Truck - So sorry to hear your troubles, sounds very painful. kaismama gave you some great info. The only thing I can add is what I am doing now with the Duragesic patch. I contacted the provider Johnson & Johnson. They have a Patient Assistance Program. Unable to work, waiting for disability, and draining all monetary assets, I was accepted in their program. For a cash pay person, these patches are very expensive, I get them for free. It may take doing some research, but every drug has a maker. Contact them and ask if they have any kind of assistance for those who need but can't pay. It worked for me. Good luck, be well as can be...
