does anyone have fingertip pain along with the gripping burning pain in my feet.
When the weather is extremely cold, I will occasionally get fingertip pain and skin blanching. Gripping, biting, pinching foot pain is more of a problem for me. It's lessened with a low dose of gabapentin (neurontin), but is always there in the background. Some days are worse than others and then inexplicably I'll have a few days in a row that I almost feel like my old self. I cannot determine a pattern, but am continuing to look for one as I am awash in gratitude for periods of some relief. As a physician myself, I would highly recommend, if you haven't already, to find a qualified, board certified neurologist, preferably one with interest in peripheral neuropathies and make an appointment. And, if one is in your area, join a peripheral neuropathy support group; the individuals living and coping with this intractable disorder(s) are a great resource and life-line. Best of luck to you.
