I had sex a day after my period had ended with a condom, I'm 2 weeks and 6 days late to get my period. I've take 5 preg tests, all in the morning and have all been negative. Getting slight cramps. Could I be pregnant? And I started birth control 17 days ago..could it be that? My boyfriend and I got worried so we got the abortion pills and inserted and still haven't got my period. Help!
Oh girl you're messing up your body. You won't get your period until you are on the week that you aren't taking active pills. You will get your period then, the pill controls it now. At first you may get spotting while on the active pills but your period will be the week you aren't. If you are so afraid of pregnancy you went to such great lengths as to use the abortion pill you need to rethink having sex. If you take the pill correctly you will have less then a 1% chance of pregnancy. So no Plan B is needed either. If you have any further questions please come here and ask before you do anything.
When you start birth control, your period time will change because of the hormones in the pills. Birth control pills stop ovulation. If no egg is released there can be no baby no matter how much sperm is introduced! Your period doesnt come on birth control pills until the 4th week of pills so you still have a few days till you even get to your placebo week (on a 28 day pack) and you dont usually start the first day. I dont know what prompted you to go get abortion pills, you are on the Pill, you used a condom AND your pregnancy tests were negative! Forget your old cycle! Once you are on the Pill, the Pill dictates your cycle and that is somewhere during the 4th week-from day 21 to day 28 so it isnt even time for your period yet! So stop worrying. It will come. Birth control pills, when taken correctly are 98-99.9% effective on their own and that is about as good as it gets! Using a condom with the pill makes it virtually impossible to get pregnant! You are freaking out over nothing! I truly wish more girls were better educated on their bodies and how birth control works before they started having sex.
