I've been taking Microgestin for almost a year, and I am still unsure about this and it scares me every time being sexually active. I haven't started my period in about 2 days. normally i have very light spotting but I'm not sure when it usually starts.
It all depends on how long your cycle is. The first day of your cycle starts the first day of your period. The reason for that is because the egg failed to meet with sperm so therefore the uterine lining sheds and cause menstruation. If you have used your birth control pills consistently then usually the hormones in the pills should make you have a period around the end of the 3rd into the beginning of the last week which is the inactive pill which are also called sugar pills. Just be patient by now you probably had your period.
