Hi I'm 19, and this is my first time taking birth control pills, which I'm taking in order to regulate my period. I just got my first pack today, and since I don't get my period often (last time was Jan. 2016), could I just start it today instead of the first day of my period since I don't know when that will be? My doctor didn't say anything about when I should start, except that most of her patients prefer to take it before they go to bed at night, and I'm not sure she said exactly when I should start.
