It's my sixth month on the pill, and third day of brown pills from the 6th pack but still haven't gotten my period. The past five months I've been having my period once I take the first brown pill, thought very light. There have been past days where I forgot to take the white pill on the certain time (I take them before I got to sleep), then I take the pill I forgot as I realize when I wake up. Then the next pill on the same day as the original time (before I go to sleep). Please help.
Don't panic. It can take longer then that until you start, or you can even skip a period now and then. The pill decreases the amount of the uterine lining and this is what we "bleed", so there are times there is nothing to "bleed". Of course taking pills late like that can increase your risk of pregnancy slightly. Since if you take it perfectly its 99% effective, the chance is not all that high. There are free apps to remind you to take it, if you think they'd help you take them on time.
