For the past 2 years me and my boyfriend have been using the pull out method. I was on the shot for the first year.
Pull out "method" is NOT birth control as men leak sperm LONG before they ejaculate. Even if they dont see anything (fluid), it is there (sperm are microscopic) They cant feel this leakage and certainly cant control it. Granted, the majority of sperm are released during ejaculation but you need only one! You could very well be pregnant since you are essentially using no birth control and most women get pregnant within a year of using no birth control. The only way to determine for sure is to perform a pregnancy test. Get a home pregnancy test and use the first void (pee) in the morning. It is the most concentrated and most likely to be accurate. Once you are late for a follow up injection, you can no longer count on it to protect you. You have a very very good chance for being pregnant! I hope this is not unwelcome news.
