I'm 19 years old and i haven't had a period in 4 years or more. I used depo for about four years and then recently got an IUD in july, but did not like it and got it removed about a month ago. I haven't had a period yet. I've read it could take a year or more to get back regulated. I'm not trying to get pregnant obviously or anything, but I'm super worried that I have gone way too long without having a period and scared it might not ever get back on track. Should I call my gynecologist and let her know I'm not having periods? I'm having the worst cramps i've ever had in my life though. I've never had a child, but I've been through the IUD insertion and that was a horrific experience... sadly these cramps feel a lot like that and sometimes get to the point of almost throwing up. Is this just my body trying to figure out what is going on? I figured it would probably be painful getting back on the pill and my body trying to have a period again.
