I had a 3-part penicillin allergy testing done by my allergist. If you are referring to a specific test for a specific type of injection, then my comment does not apply to you. But if you are allergic, or think you may be allergic, to penicillin, an allergist can perform the testing. Be prepared to go to 2-3 appointments for the test, as parts of it need to be administered on separate days. I found that I was no longed allergic, which greatly improves the selection of antibiotics available for me. Kind regards - ElizaJane23
