Hello, I am a 42 year old man. I tore the labrum and rotator cuff in my shoulder in 10/2012 and have been taking percocet 10/325 since. After about 2 months I noticed it getting harder and harder to urinate. I would have to strain terribly hard to start going and when I did not much happened except me getting frustrated and depressed. Now, 5 months later, I feel like I am going mad. I have been to one urologist that put me on flomax and an antibiotic, thinking I had an infected prostate. I finished the antibiotics and no relief. I went to a different urologist just last thursday, 2/14/13, and he said he thought it was the pain killers. I stopped taking them that day but still no relief though it has only been 2 full days without the percocet. Does this sound right? Any help or thoughts/experiences would be great as I don't know how much longer I can deal with this. Thank you in advance.
