Burning all over your stomach with some gas and pain associated with it.
Pain from acid reflux is in the chest and right under your breast bone. The pain of a peptic ulcer is, below your breast bone, between your ribs. If you make a fist and put it there, where your fist covers is where the pain of peptic ulcers is. Having been there with the peptic ulcer several times, lol. The pain all over your stomach is most likely gastritis.
Besides the areas of your gastric system that have already been covered, if you're also experiencing burning just above your waist and below your stomach on the right front, you could also have ulcers in one or more sections of your duodenum (the beginning of your small intestine). The only way to know for sure is to have a gastroscopy. My personal experience is that I have gastritis and multiple ulcers in sections 1 and 2 of my duodenum. Also, if you do have ulcers, even in the duodenum, there is high probability that they're being caused by bacteria, meaning prescription medication may very well resolve your problems. There are, unfortunately, some instances, where a cause cannot be determined from tissue samples obtained during the gastroscopy. If this occurs, and the duodenum is affected, surgery is a possibility. Having written too much already, just one last comment: the only way you can be certain of what ails you is to let the doctor take a look inside. Best wishes.
