Hello ArmymomToo. Brain zaps are a real side and a effect to taking a psychiatric drug/ntidepressant. It is the brains chemistry interacting with that individuals medication. More common when tapering off or having completely stopped a drug. The zaps are not harmfull and more often than not do end once completely not longer on that particular medication. Regards pledge
