It is probably not in generic form yet. I cannot take generic Lexapro and the brand name is $265.00 for 30 tabs. I cannot afford it. My insurance will not pay for any brand name meds. I can reduce the price by having my doc order the highest msg it comes in and I cut the pill into halves or even fourths. It does help the cost. But you cannot do that with time released formulas.
It is a sad and frustrating situation that the meds we need we cannot afford.
Hope you can find something you can afford and works for you :)
