Penicillin - if outdated on prescription can use still use or is there adverse side affects?

is prescription still uable after expiration date , and would it pose a adverse effect
Its not a good idea to take expired meds. Some can be harmful if they're old.
Hello scotthamacide. If the date is within a year of being perscribed, yes. Most antibiotics are effective for within a year of being perscribed, and there should be no adverse effects. You might ask your doctor or pharmacist to confirm or get thier opinion. Regards, pledge
The "discard after" date is there for a reason. This stuff is cheap, just get a new script, don't take chances with your health. Hope this helps.
