When the dosage is only 1-20 unit?
RonMelC, I believe it would depend on the medication you are talking about which you didn't list. Please let us know which one you are speaking about so we can better answer your question. I use Forteo which is a daily 20mcg dose in a prefilled injector. If this is the medication, I don't think it will hurt you, but try to be more careful in the future. You need to be more careful. There can of course be a problem, the patient got twice the prescribed dose. You have to follow the blood sugar frequently, watch for any signs of hypoglycemia and be sure the patient eats well today. If there are any signs of hypoglycemia, or the blood sugar starts dropping, get them to the er fast.
