I am 27 and have had two ectopic pregnancies that resulted in the removal of both tubes and part of one ovary.
Over my life I have had numerous std checks all that have come back negative the only diagnosis iv ever had was for bv.
i was a sexually active young teen and after reading about about pid I believe I might of had this for my whole adult life but mild enuff to put down to women's problems as I think my systems increase at time of ovulation. Hope someone will be able too give me somemore information than google or doctors that think I have std's

Once it gets to PID it doesn't show up on a vaginal smear. Nor is it treated as easily as if it was a vaginal infection. Did they diagnose you as having a PID and that is why the ectopics, because I had one and at that point in my life the thing I'd ever had was a yeast infection. The dr said it was a congenital stricture.
