I was on paxil for 9 years and gained so much weight they took me off.
Then I went to Zoloft. I went on that for 1 year and got my anxiety back after one year. They dose was upped to 100; then after 6 months it came back again. This time I was switched to Lexapro for 1.5 years and have it back again. I am so scared that soon nothing will work.
I have been on paxil, zoloft and now lexapro. Do they all lose their ability after time?

Your body does develop a tolerance. Don't worry, your Dr should know enough about this and keep your dosages and medications adjusted so they remain effective. I had to alternate back and forth every 8 months or so as I got tolerant to one, my Dr would switch back to the other. Hang in there!

I am taking paxil 2 weeks now, I have no appetite, can I actually lose weight? I can't sleep either?
