Is Paxil to extreme for a small amount of anxiety?
There are other antidepressants that address anxiety that do not have the same risk level of withdrawal symptoms that Paxil can have. Celexa and Lexapro may be something that you and your doctor can discuss.
There is also Buspar that is non-addictive and works well for some people with anxiety. But again something you should talk to your doctor about. But if you can find other alternatives to manage your mild anxiety without meds that would seem to be a better option. There are herbal alternatives, yoga, meditation, exercise, healthy diet and therapy also.
Hope you find what works best for you :)
