my daughter has no seisures and Keppra needs to be discontinued
Hi, I've been taking Keppra 1000mg in the morning & 1000mg at night for 4yrs now. And at one point in time i felt as if i No longer needed to take them because i haven't had a Seizure in a year & a half. But my Neurologist didn't think that was such a good idea, So i was still told to take my 2000mg a day of Keppra but ONLY i didn't Follow my doctor's Orders. And i STOPPED taking the Keppra for Maybe a WEEK & THEN I HAD THE WORST SEIZURE EVER!! I dont kno if you want to kno the Rest but i WOULDN'T advise you to just Stop it on your own. Please talk to her doctor first, I hope this was a bit helpful for you :-)
